Peter Hedberg joined Ilmatar Solar in August. His background includes previous involvement in managing environmental permits concerning wind power, mines, quarries, and peat mining during his tenure at Vattenfall and Golder/WSP. Holding a PhD in ecology with a specific focus on the restoration of wetland ecosystems, Peter has also built a substantial career as a consultant, specializing in the assessment of natural values and the development of projects aimed at ecological restoration.
During weekends and vacations, his time is predominantly dedicated to family, friends, physical fitness, reading, and partaking in hunting activities alongside his relatives. Married with two children aged 12 and 14, Peter’s hunting escapades are often accompanied by his trusty beagle, a companion that ensures a perpetually lively household, requiring ongoing repairs and replacements.
